About reservation



1. How do I make a reservation?

We accept reservations on our homepage or by phone.



2. By when should I make a reservation?

During the off-season (May, June, September, October), we can accept same-day reservations, but we recommend making reservations at least 7 days in advance.


During the busy season (January, February, March, April, July, August, November, December), there are often queues, so it is recommended to make a reservation from 15 days in advance to one month in advance.

Reservations are accepted at any time, but if your desired reservation date is crowded, it may take a few days to confirm your reservation.



8.Can I change the reservation time?

If you need to change your scheduled time, please cancel your previous reservation and rebook on the booking home of the website, you can change your time up to 24 hours in advance.



9. What should I do if I cannot make an appointment?

If you cannot make a reservation, please contact us by phone during our business hours.

About kimono and dressing



11. I am tall (short), do you have kimono?

Depending on the kimono, women with a height of 140 cm to 180 cm can wear it, but if you exceed this range, we may change the type of kimono you want.

For men, there are sizes from SS to 4L, so there is no need to worry.



12. Can it be worn with my large waistline?

No matter, the kimono and yukata are all wrapped and can be worn normally.



13.Do you have kimonos for children?

yes. We have kimonos for children.



14. What kind of things can I choose on the day?

You can choose various items such as kimono (yukata), obi, shawl, kimono bag, hairstyle, folding fan, etc.



15.Can I reserve a kimono in advance?

I'm sorry. It is difficult to reserve items in advance. It will be on a first-come, first-served basis.



16.If I don't know which plan to choose when I make a reservation, can I decide after going to the store on the day?

Yes, you can change your reserved plan on the day.

If you don't know what to do, please let us know in advance.



17. Do you have antique kimonos?

yes? We also have a large selection of antique kimonos.



18.How many kimonos and yukatas do you have?

We have more than 300 kinds of kimonos and yukatas.



19. When can I wear a yukata?

Yukata can be worn from mid-June to September every year.

(It varies depending on the heat of the year.)




About payment



20. Can I pay by credit card?

yes. It is possible.



21. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash/credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB), PayPay, LINE Pay, Alipay, and Wechat Pay.



22. When do you want to pay?

You can pay at the front desk before leaving the shop after you are ready for dressing, hair setting, etc.



23.Is it possible to accept foreigners?

Yes, we have English and Chinese interpreters in the store.



24. Can I experience it even if I am pregnant?

We are sorry, but we cannot accept guests who are pregnant as their stomachs may be compressed.



25.Can elderly people participate in the experience?

Elderly people are also welcome.



26. Can my friend who doesn't wear kimono go with me?

Yes, your friend can wait in the waiting room inside the store.



27. Is it possible to leave luggage that is not used for walking?

Yes, we can store anything other than valuables.

Cancellation



29. What if I am late for my reservation?

If you are late for more than 15 minutes, your reservation will be automatically canceled if you do not contact us in advance.

If we receive a call, customers who arrive on time will be given priority, so the waiting time may be longer.



30. If you want to cancel your reservation

Please let us know by phone or reservation form. If you cancel multiple times, you will not be able to make future reservations.



31.Is there a cancellation fee?

If you cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation, there will be no charge.




About return



32.Do you return kimonos at hotels, etc.?

We do not accept returns for business trips.



33. How long does it take to change and return the clothes?

As long as the return location is not crowded, it usually takes about 10-15 minutes.



34. What is the return time?

The final return time is 17:30 and the store closes at 18:00.



35.Can I return it the next day?

Kimonos other than silk kimonos can be returned the next day.

A guarantee fee of 10,000 yen per item will be charged.

The security deposit will be refunded when the car is returned the next day.

In addition, a separate extension fee of 1,100 yen per item will be charged.



36. What should I do if I miss the return time?

Please be sure to contact us as we may close after 18:00.

If you return the bicycle after the closing time of 18:00, you will be charged ¥1,100 for every 30 minutes (even if you are 10 minutes late).




Ancillary service




37. Do I need to prepare to wear a kimono?

No special preparation is required. Please come empty-handed. In winter, we recommend wearing innerwear (Heattech or leggings) to protect against the cold.



38. Can I choose the obi and accessories to match the kimono?

You can choose obi and accessories to match your kimono.

If you get lost, the staff will style it together.



39. How long does it take from entering the store to leaving?

Choose kimono (yukata) and obi → Change clothes → Hair set → Choose Japanese accessories → Payment

The journey time is usually around 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes and may be longer during peak season.



40.How long does it take to get dressed and hair done?

Depending on the kimono (yukata), about 15 to 30 minutes of dressing

44. What should I do if the kimono or accessories get dirty, damaged or lost during the rental period?

45. Can I take a walk in a kimono even on rainy days?

yes. Be careful not to slip and fall or stain your kimono.



46. Do you have a recommended walking place from the store?

Kyoto is the perfect city to walk around in a kimono.

There are many famous spots from the shop, and the recommended route in the surrounding area is
